Engraving is for me a vast space of freedom which always reveals something unexpected. I work in series, between rigor and chance, always with the pleasure of going into the unknown. I keep an open mind to what happens. Mistakes and misunderstandings are part of my creative process.

Over time I continued to explore multiple processes and materials. Today, I am particularly interested in the photogravure process.  These prints are often born from photomontages where I mix my own photos with existing images. The initial image, delivered to the vagaries of inking and printing, is transfigured.

Memory game

This series plays with temporality. Past and present collide and merge creating ambiguities.
